Hello, I'm Racketballs.

A comics artist and character designer who has been working independently online for nearly a decade. Bathed in mystery, I just want to be understood—and art is my way of communicating who I am.

Unceremoniously now—I’m Sasha, and I really love art. My journey started as a kid, constantly doodling and escaping into pages filled with characters and stories. Not much has changed. As a teen, I fell in love with character design and storytelling, long before I even knew it could be a career. I picked up digital art, started posting online, and just kept drawing—every day, no matter what.

Art school was my first big dream, and my first big defeat. Even the application fee was out of reach. But with a growing online presence, I threw myself fully into building my own artistic path, and that’s how Racketballs (a name without much meaning, really) was born.

My passion for art and design drives everything I do. I never set out to be the best—I just wanted to learn as much as possible. Every summer, I created my own curriculum, studying everything from anatomy to character design. That structured, self-taught approach shaped both my skills and my audience.

Creating art is a vulnerable experience, and I’m intentional about what I share. I believe the creative process is something to be protected and nurtured, and I want to help others cultivate their own.
